Premier Furey phones in a $200,000 donation to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation Radiothon

    Within the first two hours from 7-9 a.m, residents of the west coast, northern peninsula and from away, called in their donations to the tune of about $30,000.

    A big day for radiothon in support of the Western Regional Hospital Foundation. Within the first two hours from 7-9 a.m, residents of the west coast, northern peninsula and from away, called in their donations to the tune of about $30,000. Premier Andrew Furey called the studio just before 10 am to announce $200,000. The Bayfm studio was a lively place with visitors dropping by throughout the day for a coffee, tea and making their donation in person.
