Government is accepting nominations for the Council of the Federation Literacy Award. The award is presented each year to recognize outstanding achievement, innovative practice, and excellence in literacy. Nominations are being accepted for residents who deliver programs, services or initiatives that strengthen literacy skills, support learning and employability, and improve quality of life. The deadline for submissions is June 12th and the award will be presented this fall. The winner will receive a Council of the Federation Literacy Award engraved medallion and a certificate signed by the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador.
