She will host two different writing workshops this fall and winter, and is urging people to get in contact with her about it. Cleary-Escott is a former RCMP Media Relations officer who has penned “the Operation” series published by Flanker Press. She says these classes are geared towards teenagers and older adults. The “Art of Murder” course is perfect for high school students and the “Writing a Biography” course is for older adults who want to share their life story. Cleary-Escott says the big thing about writing is not to worry about the beginning. She says it’s not a big deal to move chapters around.
