Newly elected Qalipu First Nations Chief Jenny Brake says campaigning is fun but tough

    Brake says she had the most incredible campaign team who helped her put together a plan. 

    Jenny Brake was re-elected as Qalipu First Nations Chief for the 2024-28 term in an election held on October 25. She held the position of interim chief since last December. Chief elect Brake says she started campaigning years ago. Brake says she had the most incredible campaign team who helped her put together a plan.  While campaigning is tough, Brake says being open to other opinions shapes her leadership.
