Corner Brook Mayor says the new Recreation Centre will be open by September

    Mayor Jim Parsons says they are hoping to be open sooner but the pool subcontractor is finishing up work before systems are a go.

    Mayor Jim Parsons says the new Corner Brook Recreation Centre will be open by September. Speaking on Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Parsons says they are hoping to be open sooner but the pool subcontractor is finishing up work before systems are a go. He says they hope to have a soft launch later this summer. Meanwhile, the project has gone over the $25 million which was budgeted.
