36-year-old Christopher Bourgeois facing charges after a disturbance at a home in Norris Point

    During the man’s arrest, he used his body to cause damage to the police vehicle and was taken to a nearby health centre for treatment of minor injuries.

    A 36-year-old man was arrested in Norris Point early Saturday morning after a disturbance at a home in Norris Point. Rocky Harbour RCMP were called to the scene around 1 a.,m. where a man known to the homeowners was acting aggressively and causing damage to the property. During the man’s arrest, he used his body to cause damage to the police vehicle and was taken to a nearby health centre for treatment of minor injuries. RCMP also learned that the same man had damaged a home and an excavator in Neddies Harbour the previous day.
