The Corner Brook Running Club is looking for a Race Director for the 2024 season. For more than 14 years now, the club has been run entirely by a volunteer board of directors with assistance from a Race Director. They are looking for a dynamic and outgoing person to plan, organize, and manage running events. The Race Director will ensure the success and safety of each event. This is a part-time role, and the hours of work and schedule are flexible. Each event requires a minimum of 15 hours of planning work before the race day, and you can expect to work approximately 5-6 hours on race day to lead the set-up, race management, and tear-down. A $3,000 honorarium is available to be paid in monthly installments beginning in May and ending in October. A bonus payment of $500 will be payable upon completion of the full season & a final written report. Applications can be sent to cornerbrookrun@gmail.com. Start date is April 15th.
