Jiggs and Wheels continues in Corner Brook, city streets open to atv usage

    Side by sides and quads are allowed to operate between 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. until the festival ends on August 4th.

    As Corner Brook’s annual Jigs and Wheels festival continues throughout this week and  into this weekend, motorists are reminded city streets will be open to atv traffic during this time. Side by sides and quads are allowed to operate between 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. until the festival ends on August 4th. Excluded from this is all of Lewin Parkway (a Provincial roadway) as well as O'Connell Drive between Bliss Street and the Mount Bernard Ave / University Drive intersection (the bit with four lanes). All road users must follow the rules of the road. Officials also expect increased pedestrian traffic throughout the week for various musical performances and festival events. ATV users must adhere to certain rules as set out by our access bylaws, which can be found at cornerbrook.com. For a full list of Jigs & Wheels events head to www.jigsandwheels.ca.
