It's moving time for staff and patients at Western Memorial Regional Hospital

    Patient Move Day will take place this Sunday, June 2nd, 2024. On this day, all inpatients will be transferred to the new hospital. In coordination with the City of Corner Brook, a designated route will be used to transfer inpatients.

    It’s moving time for staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital as they are relocating to their new permanent location at 100 Health Care Crescent in Corner Brook. Patient Move Day will take place this Sunday, June 2nd, 2024. On this day, all inpatients will be transferred to the new hospital. In coordination with the City of Corner Brook, a designated route will be used to transfer inpatients. Roads identified include Brookfield Ave, West Valley Road, O’Connell Drive, University Ave, Corporal Pinsent Memorial Drive, and Lewin Parkway. To enable a smooth transfer of inpatients to the new hospital, the public is asked to avoid this route on June 2 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., if possible.
