Concussions continue to be a significant health concern for athletes participating in sport at any level.
This is Atlantic Concussion Awareness Day and it’s part of Concussion Awareness Week. Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation Minister Steve Crocker proclaimed the week which encourages involvement in preventing, recognizing and managing concussion in sport.
