Both the provincial and federal governments made announcements concerning St. Anthony yesterday to make announcements regarding community based projects. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons announced just over $205,000 and ACOA and Rural Economic development Minister Gudie Hutchings announced nearly $380,000 for 3 projects. These investments will help renovate and expand a multi-use trail, improve capabilities for yielding fresh, locally grown produce in the region and develop visitor capacity at the St. Anthony Marina.
