These investments will help renovate and expand a multi-use trail, improve capabilities for yielding fresh, locally grown produce in the region and develop visitor capacity at the St. Anthony Marina.

Both the provincial and federal governments made announcements concerning St. Anthony yesterday to make announcements regarding community based projects. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons announced just over $205,000 and ACOA and Rural Economic development Minister Gudie Hutchings announced nearly $380,000 for 3 projects. These investments will help renovate and expand a multi-use trail, improve capabilities for yielding fresh, locally grown produce in the region and develop visitor capacity at the St. Anthony Marina. Both levels of government remain committed to strengthening rural communities by enticing residents and visitors to stay longer and expanding the region’s tourism ecosystem.
