Nearly $438K is going to Cytochrome Technologies Inc. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says they are working on a new technology that will help meet decarbonization targets.

Government announced more funding yesterday under the Business Growth Program.  Nearly $438K is going to Cytochrome Technologies Inc. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says they are working on a new technology that will help meet decarbonization targets. The technology takes carbon out of the air. Parsons says the company has leveraged funding of more than $1M. He says Cytochrome’s proprietary technology allows it to accelerate and scale up the naturally occurring carbon sequestration process known as mineral weathering in engineered reactors. The company’s goal is to implement the safe and effective application of large-scale enhanced weathering technologies to permanently store CO2, driving both environmental and economic progress.
