Government has awarded a contract for a fertility services review. This review, which will provide recommendations on ways to enhance fertility services, including access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) services, is now underway. A contract valued at $122,435 has been awarded to Thinkwell Research Inc. The Department of Health and Community Services expects a report on this review in winter 2024. To date, 149 people have accessed the IVF subsidy, including 67 people applying for their second subsidy and 19 applying for the third subsidy.
