Most recently, Louise Bradley retired from the Mental Health Commission of Canada as its president and chief executive officer after nearly 12 years.
Louise Bradley started her career as a Registered Nurse in western Newfoundland and yesterday, she was appointed as the Injured Worker Public Representative to the WorkplaceNL Board of Directors. The appointment is for a three-year term and is effective immediately. Most recently, Ms. Bradley retired from the Mental Health Commission of Canada as its president and chief executive officer after nearly 12 years. In this role, she oversaw many firsts such as the development of the Mental Health Strategy for Canada, along with the development of the world’s first Psychological Safety Standard for the Workplace, an achievement she is incredibly proud of. Bradley has received many awards including four Honorary Doctorates from Canadian universities. She is also the recipient of both the Order of Canada and the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.
