CUPE represented Westjet Cabin Crew will be voting on a tentative agreement to put an end to a strike that started on Sunday. The work stoppage started after a proposal that would create a new standard for cabin crew was rejected by the airline. It included an hourly rate covering all time before and after flights, plus a double-digit wage increase in year one. Yesterday, Westjet announced that more details on the return to operations will be shared on westjet.com.
