Mayor Jim Parsons says until January 3rd, residents can drop off household garbage free of charge at the dump.

Now that the gifts have been unwrapped and new treasures are out of the boxes, it’s time to get rid of the extra waste. As regular garbage pickup resumes today after the Christmas break, 6 bags can go to the curb with as many blue bags that are needed. As well,  Mayor Jim Parsons says until January 3rd, residents can drop off household garbage free of charge at the dump. Parsons says this option is only for household garbage, as long as you have a photo id with proof of residency. Construction and demolition waste will not be accepted under these guidelines. For guidelines on acceptable items, visit www.WRWM.ca Christmas tree pickup will take place from January 4th to January 10th, 2025.
