Government has set May 19th to release details of a report on an energy deal with Hydro Quebec. The Independent Review Committee Report was submitted on April 30th. Premier Tony Wakeham says given this report touches on significant commercial sensitivity, the report is now undergoing a full technical and legal review before it can be publicly released.

The Premier says he doesn’t feel this should be rushed since it is too important to the people of NL. Meanwhile, he has spoken with the Premier of Quebec and NL Hydro since getting the report last week.
