A Bay St. George officer while on proactive patrol on Route 460 saw a Dodge Caravan travelling at 143km/h in an 80km/h zone.
A 33-year-old man is suspended from driving and his vehicle was seized by police after he was clocked doing 63 km/h over the posted speed limit. RCMP Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey it happened on the Hansen Highway shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday (September 16th). After stopping the driver, he was also given a ticket for excessive speeding. O’Donaghey says motorists need to slow down and plan ahead.. He says the extra minute or two that you might save by speeding is not worth it.
