The sun is shining at the Deer Lake Regional Airport today with a brand new daily route to Halifax through Porter Airlines. Airport President and CEO Tammy Priddle says this new daily service to Halifax Stanfield International Airport will provide the community with more access to our neighbors in the Maritimes. She says flights will be available starting June 4th. It will be a daily flight leaving in the afternoon and arriving in Halifax during the afternoon. Priddle says this service to Halifax will also help connect passengers to other national airports with bigger networks like Billy Bishop, Toronto Pearson, Montreal and so on.
