Corner Brook’s annual Jigs and Wheels festival is slightly more than one week away. This year’s Opening Concert, otherwise known as Blame it on Broadway, is a closed street festival with a massive outdoor stage and rocking bands all night long. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Jim Parsons says this event is always a hit for all ages. Performers include the Jason Rogers Band, Midnight Crescent, Randy Matthews and Co., Roblo’s Rock, and The Mixed Tapes. Parsons says the music will go form 6 until 2 a.m. There will also be great prices provided by Corner Brook West Sports Club.
