Ryan Butt says the Voyent Alert app is the best way to find out what’s happening in the city.
Information is power but it has to be fact checked especially with the many social media sites. Corner Brook’s Director of Communications, Ryan Butt, says the Voyent Alert app is the best way to find out what’s happening in the city. He says in a city with a population of around 20,000 only 1475 have signed up for the app. Butt says Voyent Alert can also be sent to a landline and city staff are happy to help anyone set it up. He says the best way to report any issue is for direct engagement with staff that answer 637-1666. Once the city creates a ticket on any issue, it can then be followed up on. Another good way to get information from the city, including public meetings and agendas, is to go to cornerbrook.com.
