Corner Brook Mayor says 55 percent of Grenfell Nursing grads have accepted a job here

    Parsons says young professionals are seeking certain things when they choose a place to work and live with facilities like a recreation centre, ball field, and ice rink. 

    Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons took time to attend the Nursing School graduation last week. Parsons says he was thrilled to hear how many graduates have accepted jobs here with 55 percent of the class accepting jobs here. Parsons says young professionals are seeking certain things when they choose a place to work and live with facilities like a recreation centre, ball field, and ice rink. 

    Meanwhile, effective today, anyone needing an ambulance in the Corner Brook area must call 911.
