    Corner Brook looks to rezone the north side of Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive

    At Monday night’s meeting, council agreed to begin public consultations on changing the zone from “Mosaic Residential” to “Innovation District.”

    The city of Corner Brook is looking to rezone vacant land on the north side of Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive. At Monday night’s meeting, council agreed to begin public consultations on changing the zone from “Mosaic Residential” to “Innovation District.” Councillor Vaughn Granter says there are proponents interested in the land but they need the rezoning before they can start. The city will be looking for public comments and there will be two more readings of this amendment by council.
