The City of Corner Brook is introducing a new automated garbage collection system, using designated curbside carts and a dual-stream recycling approach. At this week’s public meeting, council brought forward a motion to support the rollout of this enhanced program. Councillor Charles Pender says staff have conducted a thorough review of the existing Garbage Bylaw and identified several necessary amendments. The motion will be dealt with at the next public meeting on September 22nd.
