Environment Canada has issues a snowfall warning for this evening, with a total of up to 15cm expected, which will then transition to a heavy rainfall overnight with a total of between 25-40mm expected through tomorrow.
City crews have been busy this week working on snow removal and clearing of sidewalks throughout Corner Brook. With a break early this week with a lack of snowfall crews managed to have the loaders switched over to use baskets. Mayor Jim Parsons says depot crew have been doing a great job with cleaning up the snow. He says says hopefully, it won’t get filled in with more of the white stuff.
