Atlantic Lottery has released their annual report. President and CEO Patrick Daigle says “Atlantic Lottery is proud to build and improve Atlantic Canadian communities by returning 100 per cent of profit each year to support vital public services, including health care, infrastructure and education.” In 2023-24, Atlantic Lottery delivered $487 million to the four Atlantic provinces. This includes $147.3 million to Newfoundland and Labrador. Atlantic Lottery awarded $447 million in prizes in 2023-24, and Daigle says that’s an increase of more than $7 million from the previous year. He says their commitment to healthy play is something that sets Atlantic Lottery apart from illegal gambling operators. In 2023-24, Atlantic Lottery supported more than 100 grassroots events across the region.
