All those who do have a chance to win one of four $100 gas cards.
Residents of Corner Brook have more time to book an appointment to have bulk garbage picked up and the annual spring cleanup has been moved back by two weeks. Curbside bulk pickup will now be May 4th to May 29th and appointments can be made before April 27th. Kirstin Mercer is the city’s Sustainability Coordinator and says they decided to move the dates to give spring a chance and residents more time to get rid of waste.
Mercer says the city will be separated into four different sections for the four weeks of curbside collection. She says there’s something new this year for those who do book an appointment. All those who do have a chance to win one of four $100 gas cards.
The City will also pay for tipping fees at Wild Cove Transfer station from Friday, May 1st to Monday, May 11th. During this time, residents can make as many trips as they like, and proof of residency in Corner Brook will be required.
