Applications are available for the new Active Living and Wellness Fund which has expanded the criteria to support recreation, physical activity and wellness. It was known as the ActiveNL Fund and now includes the addition of a funding stream to help communities and organizations with delivering programs that support active living and well being. This includes a new holistic wellness, healing, and active living stream to support programs, workshops, services, and community initiatives. It recognizes that wellness is not simply the absence of illness, but the cultivation of healthy lifestyles.
