Applications are open for the 2025-26 NL Community Transportation Program

    Municipalities, not-for-profit groups and Indigenous governments and communities are eligible to apply for up to $100,000 towards accessible and inclusive community-based transportation programs.

    Applications are being accepted for the 2025-26 Newfoundland and Labrador Community Transportation Program until June 2nd. Municipalities, not-for-profit groups and Indigenous governments and communities are eligible to apply for up to $100,000 towards accessible and inclusive community-based transportation programs. Projects should focus on helping to enhance and expand transportation services for people who experience barriers. Last year, seven recipients were awarded funding through the program. The Provincial Government is investing $300,000 for the 2025-26 Newfoundland and Labrador Community Transportation Program.
