At last night’s public meeting, Corner Brook city voted down an Employee Engagement Survey. A Request for Proposals was set out to three potential bidders on February 20th but only one of them responded with a price tag of $25K. On BayFM with Lenny Benoit this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the cost was a big issue.
The idea was brought forward at the council meeting on March 23rd but was postponed to last night. Chaisson says council will discuss the matter again to determine what comes next. Another issue brought forward last night surrounded the recommendations of such a survey and how they would be implemented with follow up.
