TCH closed in both directions east of Jack's Pond near the Southern Harbour exit

    Clarenville RCMP is responding to a motor vehicle collision and visibility is poor due to heavy fog in the area.

    TRAFFIC ADVISORY (12:20 p.m.): Clarenville RCMP is responding to a motor vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway, just east of Jack’s Pond near the exit to Southern Harbour.

    Both lanes of the TCH are closed and no detour routes are available.

    Visibility is poor due to heavy fog in the area. Motorists are being asked to approach the area with extra caution, and follow all instructions from police and emergency responders at the scene.
