Dean Frederick Penney was denied bail in Corner Brook Provincial Court yesterday afternoon. He is facing a first degree murder charge in connection with the death of his estranged wife, Jennifer Hillier-Penney. The woman has been missing from St. Anthony in November of 2016. A preliminary inquiry is due to start in August.
