St.Anthony RCMP seizes vehicle from unlicenced, uninsured, and impaired driver

    Shortly after 6 pm on July 20, RCMP officers conducting patrols in the East Street area of St.Anthony stopped a vehicle with an expired registration.

    A 49- year-old had his vehicle seized by St.Anthony RCMP Monday evening after a vehicle traffic stop revealed he was unlicenced, uninsured and over the provincial limit for impaired operation. Shortly after 6 pm on July 20, RCMP officers conducting patrols in the East Street area of St.Anthony stopped a vehicle with an expired registration. During the stop, police learned that the driver did not have a licence, and he was unable to provide proof of valid insurance. The vehicle was seized and impounded by police.
