RCMP say a female driver is facing charges after she nearly struck a flag person in a construction zone and then crashed her vehicle into a ditch. Police say it happened last Thursday around 5 pm on the Bay d’Espoir Highway. The driver provided breath samples well over double the legal limit. Her vehicle was impounded and driver’s license suspended.
