Airport owner Carl Dymond says he was once an air cadet himself and says these youth programs are so important to development.
The Stephenville Dymond International Airport recently played host to the Atlantic Region Air Cadet Gliding Program. The group did their staff training last weekend and started to take 708 Stephenville Air Cadets on rides as part of their training program! Airport owner Carl Dymond says he was once an air cadet himself and says these youth programs are so important to development. Dymond says air cadets have been training at the airport for the past ten to 15 years and their goal is to put a hanger there for the gliders. Dymond says the airport will continue to support youth programs, especially the Cadet Program, which helps young people learn invaluable life skills and grow into tomorrow’s leaders.
