    51st Corner Brook Winter Carnival starts this evening

    The 51st annual Corner Brook Winter carnival kicks off at 6 o’clock this evening with a flag raising at city hall.

    It’s just about here…..the 51st annual Corner Brook Winter carnival kicks off at 6 o’clock this evening with a flag raising at city hall. Leif the viking has a special event this Sunday. The annual Leifling contest will get underway 2 pm at Sacred Heart School. Leif says leiflings will have to make their own viking costume, answer questions, and have a mock sword event with Leif. For more information call Leif at 632-6045. Today is the deadline to register.
