It’s Kids Eat Smart Week and government has announced $1.4M to support the foundation. The Kids Eat Smart breakfast program is offered at schools at no cost to families in Newfoundland and Labrador. Students have access to healthy and nutritious food to start their day at school. There are 275 Kids Eat Smart Clubs in the province at schools and community centres. The foundation serves 47,000 breakfast meals every school day, reaching 6.3 million meals each school year.
