Corner Brook Day is this Saturday at Margaret Bowater Park

Margaret Bowater Park is the place to be this weekend as Corner Brook Day is Saturday. On BayFM, Mayor Linda Chaisson says everything starts in the afternoon with Yoga in the Park,  facepainting, children’s activities, and cake cutting. Chaisson says there will be music by local entertainers from 2:30 until 10 p.m. followed by fireworks. The Mayor says it’s the last big party of the summer and is always a fun time for everyone. The park’s splash pad will be open until September 7th but the pool will close this Sunday.
