Starting next week, public access to the Deer Lake Powerhouse area will be closed for some time. This includes the parking lot and surrounding areas and applies to both vehicle and foot traffic. The area will remain closed to the public for the foreseeable future while JCL begins construction on the new Deer Lake Tailrace Bridge on the Trans Canada Highway.
