Provincial Government websites and some online services are being temporarily taken offline today as a precautionary measure following a newly disclosed global cybersecurity vulnerability. Technical teams are assessing the technology environment and working with federal, provincial and territorial partners. Websites and services are being assessed individually to determine which can safely remain available. Residents may experience temporary disruptions when accessing government websites and online services. Technical teams are working to restore affected services as quickly and safely as possible. MyGovNL is not affected at this time.
As well, In response to a global cybersecurity vulnerability, Memorial University websites and online services (such as mun.ca, my.mun.ca, Banner Self Service, MyCareers) that are accessible to the public have been temporarily taken offline as a precautionary measure. Services available from within the Memorial network continue to operate unless other action is required. VPN access will also remain available, allowing users to connect remotely to the Memorial network and access services that remain available internally.
