Two people from this area are part of a new 12-member Child Care Advisory Panel, selected after a review of 115 people who applied for it. They are Megan Keeping of YMCA Western NL and Natasha Reid of Meadow View Childcare.
The panel will provide government with concerns and recommendations that will improve and grow child care services. More than 470 child care spaces have opened in NL since October 2025.
