CEO Sean Leet says they have submitted an amendment to their Environmental Impact Assessment, which is now sitting in the hands of government awaiting a decision.

World Energy GH2 will open their doors in Stephenville for two drop-in sessions on February 20th and the 21st. The company wants to erect wind turbines on the southwest coast for the production of hydrogen. CEO Sean Leet says they have submitted an amendment to their Environmental Impact Assessment, which is now sitting in the hands of government awaiting a decision. He says they’ve worked extremely hard on the EIS and believe the document responds to all the queries. Leet says public consultations have been ongoing this year. Printed copies of the amended EIS will be available at the World Energy GH2 Community Office in Stephenville. The amendment was submitted on January 30th, the deadline for public comment is March 20th, and the minister’s decision is due by April 9th.
