Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says it’s been an ongoing project for the past couple of years that was necessary due to construction on the new hospital.
The Mt. Bernard Avenue Reconstruction Project in Corner Brook is expected to take another week or so. On BayFM with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Jim Parsons says work is taking place on both sides and should be complete by mid-August. Parsons says it’s been an ongoing project for the past couple of years that was necessary due to construction on the new hospital. Meanwhile, Parsons says road and construction work continues in the Humber Road and Curling areas. Road work is a capital project that is cost shared between all 3 levels of governments.
