To be eligible for the award, a senior must be nominated by an individual or group, must be 50 years of age or older and be a current or past resident of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Do you know a senior who is an expert in their field, or shares their culture and talents, maybe volunteers as a coach or fundraiser, or who cares for people in need of a companion? Then nominate them for the Newfoundland and Labrador Seniors of Distinction Award. These awards recognize and celebrate the contributions, achievements and diversity of seniors throughout this province. To be eligible for the award, a senior must be nominated by an individual or group, must be 50 years of age or older and be a current or past resident of Newfoundland and Labrador. Seniors will be considered for both voluntary and paid work, and nominations from last year will be reviewed again this year at the request of the nominator or nominee. Posthumous awards may also be given. The deadline for submissions is coming fast, May11th.
