A 45-year-old woman is facing charges after police searched a home in Corner Brook on Monday. The RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation (JFO) West searched the home on Humber Road around ten o’clock that night. The woman was arrested at the home. Police found nearly 2 ounces of cocaine, which was pre-packaged for street-level sales, quantities of suspected opiods, drug paraphernalia, a stun gun and concealed knives. The investigation is continuing with further charges possible. The woman was released to appear in court at a later date and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a prohibited weapon and obstructing a police officer
