Carnival Committee member Jennifer Elms says there will be delicacies from India, Uganda, NL and more with a couple of new vendors this year.
There’s an event taking place at the Corner Brook Legion that started four years ago and has now grown to take up two levels at the building on West Street. Jennifer Elms is with the Corner Brook Winter Carnival Committee. She says the Multicultural Food and Craft Fair is a community effort celebrating diversity.
Elms says there will be tables set up and each one will feature a vendor with a variety of foods and delicacies from their culture or country. She says there will be delicacies from India, Uganda, NL and more with a couple of new vendors this year.
The event takes place at the Legion from 2-6 p.m., admission is free, and there will also be entertainment starting around 4 o’clock with locals, newcomers, mummers and more.
