Lots of Cormorant helicopters will be flying around the west coast during the next week

    Training will be concentrated around the airport at the Town of Deer Lake and on the North side of Deer Lake, opposite the Town of Pasadena.

    Residents in Deer Lake through to the Corner Brook region can expect to see a lot of Cormorant helicopters and increased military activity starting tomorrow. 103 Search and Rescue Squadron from 9 Wing Gander will be conducting training on the west coast from February 28th to March 06th.

    Training will be concentrated around the airport at the Town of Deer Lake and on the North side of Deer Lake, opposite the Town of Pasadena.
