Police believe these deaths could be the possibility of an increase in the availability of illicit, dangerous, and potentially fatal drugs in our communities.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is warning the public of the dangerous use of illicit drugs following two recent sudden deaths in Corner Brook. Three other people required medical intervention following drug use. The causes of death have not yet been determined. More information will be made available by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as it becomes available. Police believe these deaths could be the possibility of an increase in the availability of illicit, dangerous, and potentially fatal drugs in our communities. The RNC is reminding the public of the explicit dangers and life-threatening consequences of using non-regulated, non-prescription drugs.
