Route 233 open now near Bloomfield, TCH still closed near Port Blandford

    Route 233 can be utilized as the detour around the Trans-Canada Highway closure near Port Blandford.

    UPDATE (January 20, 2:45 p.m.): Route 233 has now reopened to travel in both directions and can be utilized as the detour around the Trans-Canada Highway closure near Port Blandford.

    EARLIER TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Route 233 near Bloomfield is closed to travel in both directions due to a motor vehicle collision. As a result, it also cannot be used as a detour from the Trans-Canada Highway, which remains closed to traffic near Port Blandford.

    Motorists should expect significant delays. Please drive with extreme caution and patience and consider delaying any non-essential travel.
