Trans Canada Highway now open near Grand Falls-Windsor after a crash this morning involving tractor trailer

    RCMP NL thanks all motorists for their patience, understanding and extra caution during the brief closure.

    UPDATE : Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP advises that the Trans-Canada Highway has reopened to traffic in both directions. RCMP NL thanks all motorists for their patience, understanding and extra caution during the brief closure.

    EARLIER STORY: Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP advises that the Trans-Canada Highway is currently closed in both directions, west of the weigh scales, due to a two vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer.

    Motorists are asked to drive with extreme caution and obey all instructions from responders. All drivers are also reminded that the Move Over Law requires you to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.
